During the peak popularity of the award-winning game Minecraft, Tim founded Histatu Network — a personal but competitive project in the Minecraft multiplayer industry. While developing over 50 plugins on the Spigot/Bukkit API, running a fully dedicated Bungeecord network on Linux CentOS, leading a 30+ person staff team for the server's growth and stability, and allocating revenue toward consistent SEO, marketing, and advertising, Histatu Network drew in over 225,000 unique players and 4 million combined hours of playtime across its lifespan.
Following the long-anticipated launch of Hytale in 2026, Tim relaunched Histatu Network on the new platform — quickly growing it into the #1 Hytale server by population. The new network runs on a dedicated Linux node managed via Pterodactyl/Docker, with hand-tuned JVM/ZGC, Spark flame-graph profiling, and a custom SpongePowered Mixin early-plugin authored in Java to patch closed-source engine bugs. Carrying forward the lessons of its first chapter, the relaunched Histatu pairs deeper systems engineering with the same focus on community, retention, and live operations that built its original reputation.
Since the conclusion of Histatu Network, Tim has moved on to graduate as an alumni holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Cybersecurity & Analytics at Pennsylvania State University. Currently, he works as a full-time AI/ML Integration developer at ESI, a contractor for the Department of Defense, and practices self-research for a codename project referred to as EarAI — an artificial intelligence-backed technology attempting to combine the art of music composition with assistance from big data.
In his tech-fueled spare time, he routinely develops mobile applications on his own, builds high-end hardware PCs, and is always being a tech-class tutor for a friend when needed. For leisure and entertainment, he routinely watches science-fiction movies and TV shows — his all-time favorite film is Interstellar and his all-time favorite TV show is The Expanse.
